Billy F. Gibbons (born December 16, 1949), nicknamed the Reverend Willie G, is a musician, actor, hot rod and car customizer and perhaps best known as the lead guitarist for ZZ Top. It all started in Houston Texas when Billy was inspired from a young age by the local live show scene. Gibbons formed his first band when he was only 14 called the Saints. They played together with only three guitars and a drum kit, but Gibbons was hooked after hi first six-month band experience. Next he started another group around the mid-’60s called the Coachmen, the sounds of which were inspired by the likes of The Rolling Stones, Roky Erickson and The 13th Floor Elevators. The band eventually changed their name to the Moving Sidewalks, and emerged from R&B and into psychedelia, a more experimental sound with new stuff – new gear, different effects, things to step on and things to plug into all to alter ones mind. Around 1968, Moving Sidewalks began touring with Jimi Hendrix and crew on their Are you Experienced tour.
When the Moving Sidewalks parted ways in 1969, Gibbons sought to form a more boogie/blues rock-based band. He hooked up with Billy Etheridge from Dallas and Lanier Greig. ZZTop soon got together and cut the first single, “Salt Lick” b/w “Miller’s Farm,” launched in-house with Scat Records. At the time when the ZZ single began taking off and the gigs started rolling in, there was an important change in the ZZ Top lineup….namely Mr. Frank Beard and his bandmate, Mr. Dusty Hill. A pivotal part of the trio has always been the upside-down style of the band…very low guitar and a lead-like bass, tethered together with rattly percussion. The real magical element was Pearly Gates, the 1959 Gibson Sunburst Les Paul standard. Billy acquired this instrument – it was found under a bed – not knowing just how vicious this guitar was made to play. It was assembled on one of those fateful days when the glue was just right, the wood was just right, and the electronics were placed perfectly.

Being born in New York City gave me the access to the some of the best players and teachers any bassist could hope for. I have been fortunate to study with Eddie Gomez, Dave Holland, Neil Jason and the incomparable music theoretician Bob Bianco.
My first concert tour was with Avant-rocker John Cale. This was followed by tours with Flo and Eddie, Jorma Kaukonen, Suzanne Vega, Curtis Stigers and Dar Williams. I've been the bassist for Suzanne Vega for 24 years and counting. Playing with Suzanne has taken me around the world several times and has given me the opportunity to play on many of her records including two Grammy winners. I've appeared on most of the major television shows that feature music- "Saturday Night Live," "The David Letterman Show," "The Jay Leno Show" and most recently "Live From Abbey Road." In addition to Suzanne I've played with or recorded with numerous artists including Jonatha Brooke, Jackson Browne, Valerie Carter, Bruce Springsteen, Marshall Crenshaw, Shawn Colvin, Richie Havens and Jeffrey Gaines.

Joshua Panda, a twenty-six year-old singer/songwriter from Charlotte, North Carolina, is an exceptional combination of country and soul, George Jones and Otis Redding, and has traveled with this unique sound to a unique place: Vermont.
Joshua grew up in Huntersville, NC where at age three he started singing gospel music at Rockwell Baptist Church. From the church, he adopted the gospel hand wave, the rhythm, the wailing, and most importantly the embodiment of spirit. Ever since those early days in the choir, Joshua has oozed with uncontainable emotion and passion.
Integrating such soulful energy into his original pieces, Joshua has captured a spirit in his performance, which encompasses both the flailing of a fervent preacher and the intimacy of your best friend telling you a story.

The Chad Hollister Band sounds like many of the great rock bands you have heard. The music is a blend of Chad's unique melodies, grooves, lyrics, and beats. The music could be described like any of the great bands the band he has opened for or performed with such as Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Blues Traveler, Phish, Paul Simon, Little Feat, the list goes on. Yet people have also compared his music to Lenny Kravitz, Dave Mathews, David Gray and John Mayer....you'll have to LISTEN and decide for yourself.
